Minister and mayor supplying delicious meals to Covid-19 patients in home isolation
PRAYAGRAJ, May 9 (HS): Are you in home isolation and finding it difficult to meet your food requirements? Don’t worry, Cabinet minister, Nand Gopal Gupta’s team has been helping Covid-19 patients in home isolation recover from Covid-19 by providing hot and delicious meals to their doorsteps.
Minister Nandi’s office staff is arriving at the Corona patients’ homes with nutritious food cooked in the Mayor Abhilasha Gupta’s kitchen. Minister Nandi oversees the entire process, from food processing to packaging. Mayor Abhilasha Gupta prepares meals with other family members. Since April 23, the Nandi Seva Sansthan has distributed food to 7850 people.
People and families living in home isolation do not have to worry about food, thanks to Uttar Pradesh Civil Aviation, Minority Welfare Political Pension, Muslim Waqf, Haj Minister, and Prayagraj City South MLA Nand Gopal Gupta’s organization – Nandi Seva Sansthan. Food is sent to the Corona patients’ homes from the minister Nandi and Mayor Abhilasha Gupta Nandi’s kitchen. Not only that, but Nandi prepares the regular menu of nutritious foods to be distributed to the patients, and his staff prepares and packs the food under his supervision.
Mayor Abhilasha Gupta and Minister Nandi are ensuring optimum utilization of their cooking skills in the kitchen and preparing meals for the needy. Food is given to patients who are alone at home on a daily basis. Minister Nandi launched the campaign on April 23, which is incidentally his birthday. 7850 people have been provided food at their door step till date. Nandi Seva Sansthan employees are busy serving people with zeal. For this mission, an eight-to ten-person team has been created to distribute food to various locations.
Minister Nandi believes it is his responsibility to serve the people. As a result, members of Nandi Seva Sansthan’s are providing lunch and dinner to the families of those in home isolation. The WhatsUp number 9936667701 has been assigned for ordering the meal. Corona infected people who are confined to their homes can order food by sending information through WhatsApp.
“People from different walks of life have also joined in now. Everyone takes an active part in delivering the food packets— breakfast, lunch and dinner—to those in home isolation,” said Mayor Abhilasha Gupta while speaking to HS. She said when recently a family member tested positive, they realised how difficult it is to prepare meals while in home isolation. “Hence, we started serving free food packets to the homes of coronavirus-infected patients living in self-isolation as a service to humanity at our own cost. In times when everyone is scared to step out of their homes, member of Nandi Seva Sansthan have been working relentlessly with a smile on their face,” she concluded.
