MCA postponed all the tournaments due to Coronavirus outbreak

Mumbai, 14 March (HS): In view of the rising outbreak of Coronavirus, the Mumbai Cricket Association has postponed all tournaments.
The Young Comrade Shield 2020, Bombay Junior Shield, Shamar Vacation Shield and Black T20 Cup have also been postponed following this decision of Mumbai Cricket Association. Earlier, the Indian Premier League was also postponed to 15 April due to this virus.
To prevent the spread of Corona in the state, the Maharashtra Government has declared Corona as an epidemic and the ‘Epidemic Act’ has been imposed in the state. Based on this act, the state government has shut down locations such as gyms, cinema halls, swimming pools in the cities of Mumbai, Pune, Thane, Navi Mumbai, Nagpur and Pimpri.
Following this decision of the government, the Mumbai Cricket Association has decided to postpone all tournaments. It is noteworthy that Corona, which started from Wuhan in China, has spread its footsteps in 147 countries of the world.
In China, eight people have died in 24 hours. According to the World Health Organization, 321 people died of Corona in the last 24 hours worldwide. In this way the total death toll in the world has reached 4973. A total of 1,34,679 people are infected with Corona in the world, while a total of 69,142 people have been discharged after treatment.
