Mayawati welcomes PM Modi’s initiative on CORONA issue

Lucknow, 17 March (HS) : Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) President Mayawati has welcomed the initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to hold a meeting with Chief Ministers of different states on CORONA issue considering the fresh outbreak of the cases. She has also demanded free vaccination for the poor people.

Mayawati on Wednesday tweeted that the initiative of the PM Modi should be welcomed. In the tweet she also said that the government should ensure free vaccination of the poor people.

BSP Supremo had received first dose of COVID-19 vaccine at a hospital in Lucknow on Saturday. After getting the first dose of the vaccine she had said that vaccine is the way to prevent from CORONA infection.

That time too she had urged the central as well as state governments to provide free CORONA vaccine to the poor people.
