Markets stay strong: Third-Day rally holds steady amid profit booking!

The stock market showed strength for the third straight day on Thursday. Early trading began with gains but faced profit-booking pressure, slowing momentum. Despite this, Sensex rose 0.31%, and Nifty gained 0.41% in the morning session.
Top gainers included HDFC Life, SBI Life, Adani Ports, Shriram Finance, and Adani Enterprises, with gains between 2.46% and 10.57%. Meanwhile, Tata Consumer Products, Hindustan Unilever, Nestle, HCL Tech, and Britannia declined by 1.06% to 2.09%.
As of now, 2,318 stocks traded actively, with 2,047 in the green and 271 in the red. In Sensex, 21 stocks showed gains, while 9 faced losses. Nifty mirrored this trend, with 33 advancing and 17 declining.
Sensex opened strong at 77,319.50, gaining 595.42 points. Profit-booking caused slight fluctuations, but steady buying kept the index in the green. By 10:15 am, it traded at 76,960.04, up by 235.96 points.
Similarly, Nifty started at 23,377.25, up by 164.05 points. It briefly touched 23,391.65 before selling pressure kicked in. By 10:15 am, Nifty was trading at 23,307.90, rising 94.70 points.
On Wednesday, Sensex closed at 76,724.08 with a 224.45-point gain (0.29%). Nifty ended at 23,213.20, up by 37.15 points (0.16%). Despite challenges, the market remains resilient as buying interest continues to counter profit-booking pressures.
