MAKAUT comes up with new sets of Certification Courses
Kolkata, Jun.22 (HS): Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), a city based renowned and advanced knowledge and research based institution, has launched a number of new age professional certification programmes in addition to the existing certification and degree courses to open new windows of opportunity for its students from this year.
The prolonged offerings are intended to meet the market demand for talent with specialized technical and engineering leadership skills, said Saikat Maitra, Vice Chancellor of MAKAUT.
Speaking to Hindusthan Samachar here today about the new courses for the benefit of a large number of students, he said among the new offerings were Certification and Diploma Programmes along with partners such as Post Graduate Degree in Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, 3D Printing, Web Development, Data Structure, Virtualization, Network Administration, and Drone Operation and Maintenance,
These new offerings would run along with the existing in-house courses like Core Networking, Advanced Computational Science, Web Application Design, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science and Data Analytics with Python.
In addition separate classes were also arranged for Ophthalmic Care Technology, the Eye-Mitra Optician and Vision Technician,Food and Beverage Services,Front Office Operations, Housekeeping and several other new and emerging Technologies and Certificate Programme in Soft Skills, Renewable Energy and Solar Technician, Food Production, and Big Data .
‘The course curriculum will be finalized through different Boards of Studies (BOS) of MAKAUT through coordination with the respective partner ‘, Maitra said adding at the end of the curriculum successful candidates would be awarded joint certificates of MAKAUT and the collaborating partners.
Asked about some of the unique and first its kind programmes in Eastern India like Data Analytics with Python, the MAKAUT VC said, Python programming language was currently the most popular language for Data Scientists worldwide.
