Bhopal,26 May(HS): A period of intense heat has started in the state from Monday with the temperature in most of the districts crossing 44 degrees. while the night temperature is also at a level of 29.7 degrees. It has reached 46 degrees in Khajuraho, Naugaon, Khargone, Gwalior and Datia districts.
The Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts that some states, including Madhya Pradesh, will experience severe heat. Meanwhile, Lu will also harass people.
The Meteorological Department has also issued a yellow alert for Lu and issued a guideline to prevent it. After next week, once again pre-monsoon activities are expected to reduce the temperature.
Meteorologists say that many districts will experience two or three days of heatwave conditions including the city. Meteorologist Ajay Shukla says that when the temperature goes above 5 degrees above the normal level, the condition of heat is created. At this time, it has been about 13 and a half hours in the city. The direct rays of the sun are falling on the earth. Warm, dry winds are coming from the west and northwest. Temperatures will rise further in the next two-three days, which can lead to heatwave conditions in the city.
With this, the Meteorological Department has reported a delay of 5 to 6 days in the monsoon. The monsoon in Madhya Pradesh is expected to reach by 20 June. The weather of the state was dry during the last 24 hours in Madhya Pradesh.
Loo has affected in Rewa, Sidhi, Umaria, Jabalpur, Damoh, Tikamgarh, Chhatarpur, Khandwa, Khargone, Gwalior, Datia and Morena districts. There was no specific change in the maximum temperatures in the districts of all divisions.
They were much above normal in the districts of Rewa, Shahdol and Ujjain divisions and higher than normal in the remaining divisions’ districts. The maximum temperature in the state is 46 degrees recorded at Khajuraho, Naugaon, Khargone, Gwalior and Datia.
The loop will run in the districts of Gwalior, Chambal, Rewa, Sagar and Shahdol divisions of Madhya Pradesh and in Shajapur, Agar, Rajgarh, Raisen, Khandwa, Khargone, Jabalpur, Balaghat, Katni, Chhindwara and Narsinghpur districts.
