Kokrajhar Batabari village lock down, no entry in village

Kokrajhar,27 March(HS): The villager of the Batabari which is around 15 kilometres from Kokrajhar main town and villagers lockdown their village by bamboo and has pasted in barricades No entry in the village.

Kansai Brahma said that our village also took the stern step and other people would not be allowed to enter our village without proper verification  and we will consult with doctor and health department they only we will allow entering our village.

Taking cognizance of the threat posed by the outbreak of the coronavirus or COVID-19, the people of a remote village in Assam’s Kokrajhar district, Batabari, have put up bamboo barricades to dissuade anyone from visiting the village, he added
