A pro-Khalistan extremist breached S Jaishankar’s security in London, rushing toward his car and tearing the Indian flag. Police hesitated before detaining him and other protesters. The attack happened as Jaishankar left Chatham House after a discussion.

A viral video shows the extremist exploiting a brief lapse in security to tear the tricolor while others chanted slogans. Police later took action, removing the disruptors. Another video from ANI captured the group waving Khalistani flags and shouting outside the venue.

Jaishankar, on an official UK visit from March 4 to 9, held talks with UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy at Chevening House. They discussed strategic coordination, political ties, trade, technology, education, and mobility.

Later, at Chatham House, Jaishankar defended India’s stance on Kashmir. He dismissed third-party mediation, citing steps like Article 370’s abrogation, economic growth, and high voter turnout. He stressed that the real issue was Pakistan’s illegal occupation of part of Kashmir.

“We are waiting for the return of the stolen part of Kashmir under illegal Pakistani occupation. Once that’s done, Kashmir is solved,” Jaishankar declared.
