‘Kejriwal stained his own land’: Haryana CM’s ‘Tihar’ dig

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini slammed AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday, accusing him of tarnishing his birthplace and belonging in Tihar jail. His remarks came after Kejriwal alleged that Haryana’s BJP-led government had poisoned Delhi’s Yamuna water with ammonia. Later, Kejriwal claimed the ammonia levels had dropped from 7 ppm to 2 ppm.
Saini took to X, calling Kejriwal corrupt and unfit for Haryana. “Corrupt Kejriwal has stained the land of his birth. His place is in Tihar jail, not here,” he posted. He also shared a video attacking Kejriwal over corruption in Delhi. “This ‘bhrashtachari’ has betrayed Delhi. After February 5, he will be in Tihar jail,” Saini declared.
Kejriwal previously spent months in Tihar over the Delhi excise policy scam. He secured bail but remains under scrutiny.
Saini Accuses Kejriwal of Lying
At a rally in Mundka’s Rani Khera, Saini dismissed Kejriwal’s water pollution claim. He called Kejriwal a liar who deceives people for personal gain. “He runs a shop of lies, and on February 8, Delhi will shut it down,” Saini said.
Saini admitted Kejriwal’s Yamuna claim initially worried him. “I was concerned too because he accused me. But Kejriwal, you were born on Haryana’s soil, and you’ve put a black spot on it. You are neither from Haryana nor Delhi. You lie for your benefit,” he asserted.
Delhi votes on February 5, with results on February 8. The political battle intensifies as both sides trade sharp accusations.
