Kejriwal hits back at BJP, accuses party of lacking agenda
On Monday, AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal responded sharply to the BJP’s recent chargesheet, accusing the party of lacking a clear agenda for the upcoming assembly elections. He criticized the BJP for focusing on personal attacks against him instead of presenting a solid plan for Delhi’s future.
Kejriwal dismissed the BJP’s allegations of corruption and misgovernance. He argued, “The BJP has no agenda or concrete plan for Delhi. Their only approach is to abuse me for the next five years. I ask the people of Delhi—can abuse lead to the city’s progress?”
The Delhi Chief Minister pointed out that the city is governed by both the AAP and the BJP-led central government. Despite this, he highlighted the achievements made by his AAP government in improving the city’s infrastructure and services. “Our government has delivered significant benefits like free electricity, free water, and free bus travel for women. What has the BJP done?” Kejriwal asked.
His remarks underscored the contrast between the AAP’s focus on providing welfare services and the BJP’s perceived lack of a concrete vision for the city’s development. Kejriwal further stressed that personal attacks were not a substitute for real governance and urged the people of Delhi to consider what truly benefits their city.
As the elections approach, the political battle between AAP and BJP intensifies, with Kejriwal positioning his party as a proactive force dedicated to improving daily life for Delhi’s residents.
