Karnataka’s Additional Chief Secy interacts with IIM Ranchi students

Ranchi, 23 January 2021 The Winter School on Leadership, Policy and Governance which was conducted from January 19 to 23 by Atal Bihari Vajpayee Centre for Leadership, Policy and Governance under the aegis of IIM Ranchi concluded today. Professor Shailendra Singh, Director, IIM Ranchi welcomed the chief guest, faculty and participants connected both online and offline mode.

He said that,” The five days of winter school 2021 was eventful and participants would have gained knowledge and values related to Policy, Governance and Leadership.” He thanked all the colleagues for successfully conducting Winter School 2021. Professionals related to policy, governance and leadership can contribute articles based on policy issues. The opening blog titled “MSP: Most supported politically or merely some price?” has been contributed by authors Professor Shailendra Singh and Professor Angshuman Hazarika.
The event was also attended by Kalpana Gopalan, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary in Karnataka government as the chief guest. She said that, “The post-Covid era will see changed ways of living and working. “
She added that every big crisis is the test of leadership. The Covid 19 crisis has taught us to demonstrating leadership in everyday life and leadership is not just confined to individuals, businesses and governments. She further added that we should train teams and not individuals in the post Covid era. We should practice personal and collective social responsibility and fight with the challenges and changes in personal and professional life caused due to Covid-19 crisis.
