Karnataka government gives a go-ahead for Ayurvedic treatment to Corona
Bengaluru,15 April(HS): The state government today gave a go-ahead for Ayurvedic treatment to victims being infected with Coronavirus.
BS Yediyurappa, Chief Minister today summoned Dr Giridhar Kaje, a renowned city-based Ayurvedic practitioner and informed him of the state government’s decision of treating the Coronavirus victims through Ayurvedic medicine as well.
Initially, ten patients will be treated with Ayurvedic drugs at the Covid-19 hospital and a decision in this connection will be taken later after assessing the results with these ten patients, informed Dr Giridhar Kaje.
Probably this is for the first time in the country that an attempt is being made to give a try to treat the deadly Coronavirus infection, with the traditional native system, which anyway till date has no drugs or vaccine to eradicate it.
