Kareena shares PM Modi’s special note for Tim & Jeh, along with pics from star-studded Delhi visit!
Kareena Kapoor recently visited Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi, accompanied by her family, including Saif Ali Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Karisma Kapoor. The meeting was part of a larger gathering where the Kapoor family invited PM Modi to the Raj Kapoor Film Festival, celebrating the legendary actor’s 100th birth anniversary.
On Instagram, Kareena shared heartfelt moments from the meeting. What caught the public’s eye was a special autograph from PM Modi for her sons, Taimur and Jeh. In the pictures, Kareena is seen with PM Modi, as he signs a page addressed to her sons, calling them “Tim and Jeh.”
Kareena expressed gratitude for the warm and memorable afternoon, writing, “We are deeply humbled to have been invited by the Honourable Prime Minister to celebrate the life and legacy of our grandfather, the legendary Raj Kapoor.” She added that the Raj Kapoor 100 Film Festival would honor his contribution to Indian cinema.
The visit comes ahead of the December 14 centenary of Raj Kapoor’s birth. To celebrate, PVR INOX and the Film Heritage Foundation will host the extensive RK Film Festival from December 13 to 15. The festival will showcase classics like Awara, Shree 420, and Mera Naam Joker across 101 cinemas in 34 cities. This grand retrospective will allow audiences to experience the timeless magic of Raj Kapoor’s visionary filmmaking.
