JK Govt. revokes detention of Farooq Abdullah under PSA

Jammu, March 13 (H.S): The Jammu and Kashmir administration on Friday revoked the detention order of former chief minister of the state and incumbent parliamentarian,  Farooq Abdullah under Public Safety Act (PSA).

In an order issued on Friday, the government has revoked the detention order dated September 15, 2019 issued by District Magistrate,  Srinagar which was extended for a period of three months on December 13 last year.

Abdullah was detained in wake of the abrogation of Article 370 last year on August 5 and was later booked under PSA.
