Jio launches ‘Digital Flight’ with Facebook, new Internet users to be benefited
New Delhi , June 4(HS) :Reliance Jio announced the Digital Literacy Initiative for the first time in the country for Internet users. As part of the ‘Digital Udaan ‘ initiative with Facebook, Jio will be able to connect with its consumers every Saturday, while it will also help them to know about Internet security, including the use of Jio Phone features, Facebook with different applications.
Akash Ambani, director of Reliance Jio, said that the program will be started at 200 locations in 13 states of the country. This program is for inclusive information, education and entertainment. Jio has envisaged to take it to every city and village of the country, by which 100 percent digital essence fulfilled in the country.
Under initiative of Digital Udaan, there will be audio-visual training in 10 regional languages. Facebook India Vice President Managing Director Ajit Mohan said, “Facebook is a partner in this mission and we are happy to partner with jio to attract new internet users and create mechanisms for them.”
