“It is necessary that we all fight this disease together”: Rohit Sharma

New Delhi, 16 March (HS). Indian cricket team opener Rohit Sharma has appealed to the countrymen to be vigilant with the Coronavirus becoming hazardous.

Rohit posted a video on his Twitter and Facebook on Monday, in which he asked people to be alert and careful about the disease. Rohit said that the last few weeks have been very difficult for us and the whole world has stopped at this time, which is quite bad.

He said that for us to return to the common path, it is necessary that we all fight this disease together and that we can do this by keeping the information around us, being a little cautious and careful.

He also said that in order to deal with the disease, the governments of all the states have advised people to keep distance from each other and closed schools, malls, cinema halls to prevent crowds from gathering. Rohit said this is because we all want our children to go to school. Rohit has also praised the doctors fighting the disease.

Rohit said, “I appreciate the efforts of all doctors and medical staff from all over the world, who took care of those who risked their lives who are suffering from Coronavirus.”
