Israel’s raid on Kamal Adwan Hospital has drawn disturbing testimonies from survivors. According to the Euro-Med Monitor, Israeli troops committed deliberate killings, field executions, and sexual assaults on women and girls inside and near the hospital. A 44-year-old paramedic described how Israeli forces shot a Palestinian man holding a white flag and a child with a psychological disorder. He also recounted the execution of five injured individuals who were forced to walk in front of a tank before being killed without question.

Testimonies also revealed that Israeli soldiers forced women and girls to strip under threats, insults, and slurs. One woman shared how a soldier made a nurse remove her trousers and assaulted her when she resisted. Another soldier threatened a woman, saying, “Take it off, or we’ll force it off you.”

Meanwhile, Israel has been engaged in a broader conflict with the Houthi rebels. After a missile attack from the group injured 16 people in Tel Aviv-Jaffa, Israel called for a UN Security Council meeting. The Houthi group, based in Yemen, has launched missiles and drones at Israel and commercial ships in the Red Sea, aiming to pressure Israel to end its war in Gaza. In response, Israel has struck Yemen’s cities, killing at least nine people.

As Israel continues its offensive in Gaza, the situation worsens. Over 900,000 displaced Palestinians lack adequate shelter as winter temperatures plummet to 6°C. Many are living in makeshift tents made of tarpaulin, blankets, and cardboard due to a severe shortage of proper materials.

The Norwegian Refugee Council reported that only 285,000 displaced Palestinians received essential shelter materials by late November, leaving the rest in dire need of assistance. Supplies such as blankets, mattresses, and other winter essentials remain stuck at border crossings, awaiting approval to enter Gaza.
