IOA decided to donate 71 lakhs to fight the coronavirus
New Delhi,03 April(HS): The Indian Olympic Association (IOA) has decided to donate 71 lakh rupees to fight the coronavirus epidemic. These donations have been raised by the IOA through its state partners and the National Sports Federations (NSF).
IOA Secretary General Rajiv Mehta issued a statement stating, “The IOA is grateful to their NSF, state associations, other unions and bodies for their support and humble contribution to fight COVID-19.”
He added, “The Olympic family coming together to support the nation in this challenging time once again strengthens our faith. We will always be stronger to serve the sport.”
