Burhanpur, 16 April (HS): RSS chief Dr Mohan Bhagwat on Sunday said that India will become a world guru only by following the path of religion.

“If we all keep following the religion, then in the coming 20-30 years, India will become the world guru who will show the world a new path,” he said.

He said that religion means the feeling of the welfare of the whole creation. “We have to do our duty by following the path of truth. India doesn’t have to become a superpower but has to teach religion to the world.”

Sarsanghchalak was addressing the Dharma Sanskriti Sabha organised here during his stay in Burhanpur. He said that people of different languages, sects and religions live in India. “Despite being different, we know that the whole creation is one. That’s why we are Hindus. We have to take everyone along with mutual respect for each other. By following the eternal religion, the whole creation will be happy.”

Bhagwat said to follow the words of saints and sages. Since time immemorial they have been showing us the path of goodness. “We all have to bear the burden of the welfare of the world together,” he said.

He also talked about speaking the truth in the beloved language and staying away from the six evils of lust, anger, attachment, greed, arrogance and satsar.

The Dharma Sanskriti Sabha was organised by Peethadhishwar Swami Jitendra Nath of the Nath Peeth located in Amravati, Maharashtra. Swami Jitendranand Saraswati, Mahamandaleshwar Hariharanand Maharaj, Swami Jitendranand Saraswati of Kashi, Raje Mudhoji Bhonsle, a descendant of Shivaji Maharaj were also present in the Dharma Sanskriti Sabha.

Before the meeting, Sarsanghchalak reached the Nath temple located on the Tapti coast. Here offered flowers on the tomb of Swami Govind Nath Maharaj and visited Shri Ram Darbar. Here he participated in the restoration program of Govind Nath Maharaj’s Samadhi Sthal. On this occasion, he said, “We have diversity here but the world knows one name of all of us, we are Hindus.”

Bhagwat said that many nations have been born and perished. “We have to establish the deviation in the roots of religion in the people who believe in Indian beliefs in the country. This is true work. Awakening in religion is a divine work. We will all try together.”

He said, “We think about the external situation, we get upset. No need to panic. The more active we all are, the sooner everything will be fine. We have Satya, Karuna, Suchita, Tapas.”

The Supreme Court has also said that conversion through greed and force is not right. People have to be connected with religion, culture, and policy.

Sarsanghchalak said that if society has knowledge, it will be able to recognise the deceit and hypocrisy. “That’s why you should have firm faith in Him. Our people know Ramayana but at times do not grasp its real meaning.”

He said that 150 years ago in Madhya Pradesh, the entire village of Pura had become Christians. Later, the whole village converted back to Hinduism. Missionaries coming from thousands of miles away eat and drink them and transform them. “Very soon the world is going to run on the basis of the values of religion and India will run first. This change will be seen in 20-30 years.”
