India marks 75 years of Constitution: PM Modi, Rajnath Singh to lead landmark LS debate

The Lok Sabha will begin a two-day debate on December 13 to mark 75 years of the Indian Constitution’s adoption. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will lead the discussion, while Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the session on Saturday. The Rajya Sabha will also hold a similar debate, with Home Minister Amit Shah initiating the discussion.
The agenda focuses on the “Special discussion on the 75th anniversary of adoption of the Constitution of India.” Leaders will reflect on the Constitution’s core principles, values, and its role in shaping India’s democracy.
This debate celebrates India’s journey since 1949, highlighting the Constitution’s importance as the nation’s guiding document. It also reaffirms the responsibility to safeguard its principles for a stronger and inclusive future.
