House caretaker arrested in molestation and murder case of nine-year-old
Kolkata, February 05 (H.S). The police have finally arrested the house caretaker in a heartbreaking case of rape and murder of a nine-year-old in Jodabagan area of West Bengal’s capital Kolkata. After the body of the girl was found in the terrace on Thursday morning, the Kolkata Police’s DD team has started its investigation. The arrested caretaker has told in the interrogation that he took the girl to the terrace with him after 8:00 pm with the temptation to feed biryani. There, he drugged the girl after feeding her with a narcotic pill, after which the rape incident took place. After this, the child was strangled to ensure the death.
Pornographic videos have also been found from his mobile. Family sources have said that she came to her maternal uncle’s house at the address on Vaishnav Sheikh Street. The victim, who was studying in the third grade, went missing on the night of the incident i.e. Wednesday night after 8:00 pm. The shocking thing is that when all the people had gathered in search of the girl, the caretaker also climbed the roof with everyone but the girl was not found there. While on the roof, he carried out the rape incident as well as the murder. That is why the police suspect that many more people have been involved with it. He is under interrogation.
