New Delhi, July 05 (HS): Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that the Aadhaar card for NRIs with Indian passports will be issued after their arrival in India, without waiting for the mandatory 180 days.
Every verified woman SHG member having a Jan Dhan account, an overdraft of 5000 rupees will be allowed.
To further encourage women entrepreneurship, Women SHG Interest Subvention Programme to be expanded to all districts in India.
For purchase of high-rated pooled assets of financially sound Non Banking Finance Companies amounting to 1 lakh crore rupees during 2019-20, one-time six-month partial credit guarantee to be given to PSBs.
Govt will provide Rs 1.5 lakh income tax deduction on interest payments on loan taken for purchase of electric vehicles.
Direct tax collection increased by 78%; Tax collection rises from 6.38 lakh crore rupees in 2013-14 to 11.37 lakh crore rupees in 2018.
Govt sets one lakh five thousand crore rupees disinvestment target. 4 lakh crore rupees NPAs have been recovered over the last four years.
NPAs of commercial banks reduced by over one lakh crore rupees over last year; 70000 crore rupees will provided for capital to boost credit.
Around 18341 crore rupees annually have  been saved through LED bulbs.
Need to replicate Zero Budget Farming, to go back to basics, which will help Doubling Farmers Income.
Pension benefit to be extended to around 3 crore retail traders and shopkeepers with annual turnover less than 1.5 crores under Pradhan Mantri Karam Yogi Man Dhan Scheme.
