Heavy rains in Japan, government issues advisory
Tokyo, July. (HS): Due to heavy rains, a civilian was killed and five others were injured in southwestern Japan. Ten million people have been instructed to evacuate their homes because the area received nearly a month’s rainfall in a single day on Thursday.
Kagoshima and Miyazaki have received rainfall of 1000 millimeters since Friday. There are more than 30 landslides in these two places.
