HD Devegowda welcomes PM’s initiative
Bengaluru,05 April(HS): HD Devegowda, the former prime minister has welcomed the prime minister’s initiative of lighting the lamp for nine minutes this evening at 9 PM.
In a tweet, he has said that the poor people are facing enough hardships due to the Covid-19 pandemic. In order to wipe out the darkness among such people and glow light of new hope, a call has been given to light lamp, candle, torch or cell phone. It is a welcome gesture.
In the same tweet, he has appealed the prime minister to take cognisance of the difficulties being faced by the peasants and workers.
