Hazat suicide case, corpse sent for postmortem

Chapra, 24 February, (HS): Police has sent the corpse of the man, who had committed suicide in Avatar Nagar police station Hazat for postmortem. Three member medical board under the supervision of a judicial magistrate will do the postmortem. Deceased Shailesh Kumar Pandey of Moazzampur village under Avatar  Nagar police station  had allegedly killed his infant daughter under inebriated condition. His wife and son had informed the police of the same and he was arrested and kept inside the Hazat Around 10.30 pm where he had managed to commit suicide with the help of some cloth. Villagers alleged that Shailesh died due to police torture. Hearing of this SP Santosh Kumar reached police station and gave necessary instruction after sending the corpse for postmortem.
