Haryana: Congress leader Vikas Chaudhary shot dead in Faridabad

Faridabad , June 27 (HS) : Haryana Congress spokesperson Vikas Chaudhary has been shot dead while returting from a gym. Chaudhary was shot at while he was travelling in his car. Around 8-10 rounds were fired at him while he was sitting inside his vehicle. He was rushed to a local hospital where doctor declared him dead.

Vikas Chaudhary was returning from the gym on Thursday morning, when some unknown car rider miscreants carried out the incident. Incident was captured in the gym’s CCTV camera, shows the two men approach Vikas Chaudhary’s sports utility vehicle from both sides and fired at him.

DCP Rajesh Kumar said that the cause of the murder has not yet been known. Police said that the miscreants opened fire with automatic weapons. at least 15-20 bullets have been fired.

Haryana Congress president Ashok Tanwar said, “It’s jungle raj here, there is no fear of law. Same kind of incident happened yesterday where a woman who opposed molestation was stabbed. There should be a fair investigation.”
