Haryana clinches gold in mixed netball, defeats Uttarakhand at National Games

The Netball (Mixed) event at the 38th National Games reached its peak excitement as Haryana claimed the gold medal by defeating Uttarakhand 39-33 in a thrilling final. Uttarakhand, despite their strong performance, had to settle for the silver medal.
The competition was fierce right from the pool matches. In Pool A, Chhattisgarh triumphed over Delhi 39-24, while Haryana outplayed Puducherry 36-25. In Pool B, Telangana edged out Karnataka 26-22, and Uttarakhand overcame Assam 34-29.
The semi-finals showcased tough battles. Uttarakhand dominated Chhattisgarh, winning by a 35-point margin. Meanwhile, Haryana defeated Telangana 38-23 to secure their spot in the final.
Chhattisgarh and Telangana faced off for the bronze medal in a nail-biting match. After a 31-31 draw, both teams shared third place.
