Guv to inaugurate Birsa Munda Centre for Tribal Affairs at IIM Ranchi

Ranchi, 24 February (HS): Indian Institute of Management, Ranchi is set to function Birsa Munda Centre for Tribal Affairs (BMCTA). It has been set up to conduct research and training in the area of tribal development, entrepreneurship and planning, which can contribute to the tribal culture and context at state as well as the national level.

Governor Draupadi Murmu will be inaugurating it on Wednesday afternoon. Other dignitaries invited on this occasion are Ranchi University Vice Chancellor Ramesh Pandey, Padmashree Ashok Bhagat – Eminent Social Worker and Founder Secretary Vikash Bharti (Bishunpur), Namita Pandya – Vice President of Friends of Tribal Society for Mumbai Chapter and In-charge of Gramin Ladies Wing of West Zone along with Rekha Jain – president of Friends of Tribal Society for Ranchi Chapter.
