Ajit Roy takes charge as Census Director

Ajit Roy, a 2013-batch IAS officer of the AGMUT cadre, has been appointed as the Director of Census Operations and Citizen Registration at the Deputy Secretary level in Mizoram. In this role, he will manage census activities and oversee citizen registration processes.

His appointment reflects the government’s focus on improving administrative efficiency and data management in the region. Roy’s experience in public administration is expected to enhance the accuracy and smooth execution of these critical tasks.
