GM reviewed Covid-19 situation on NCR & NER

PRAYAGRAJ, April 12 (HS): General Manager Vinay Kumar Tripathi chaired a joint video conference on Covid-19 situation attended by AGM NCR Ranjan Yadav, PHODs, DRMs and other Sr officers from HQ, Prayagraj and divisions of NCR and NER. He directed all divisions to provide all requisite assistance to state officials in testing of incoming passengers. He advised divisions to maintain close liaison with state officials to ensure additional resources required for testing at stations are arranged and deployed.

 Awareness campaign on use of mask and other Covid-19 appropriate behavior has already been undertaken and posters, digital displays, public announcement system etc. are being used regularly to inform passengers on various precautions against Covid-19.

GM also reviewed status of precautions against Covid-19 at workplaces and offices. He said that all guidelines issued by central and state government for workplaces and offices must be followed strictly and we should also use our experience in handling Covid-19 to protect our workforce from infection. He stressed that places of staff concentration like crew lobbies, running rooms, depots etc. should be paid all required attention to mitigate chances of Covid-19 spread. Tripathi also advised that gathering of staff in canteen, mess etc. should be avoided to the extent possible.
