Global Market Shows Signs of Strength on Monday

On Monday, global markets show signs of strength, following a bullish trend in the US market. Last session, Wall Street closed positively, with the S&P 500 gaining 0.6%, ending at 5,815 points. Similarly, the Nasdaq rose by 0.33%, closing at 18,342 points. However, Dow Jones Futures currently trade lower at 42,842 points, down 0.05%.

In Europe, the positive momentum continued, with the FTSE index closing at 8,253 points, up 0.11%. The CAC index gained 0.4%, finishing at 7,577 points, while the DAX jumped 162 points, or 0.8%, closing at 19,373 points.

In Asia, a general buying trend is evident today. Among nine Asian markets, five indices trade in the green, while two show declines. Notably, the Nikkei and SET composite indices are not trading today. The GIFT Nifty trades at 25,100 points, reflecting a decline of 0.14%. Meanwhile, the Hang Seng index has dropped 0.41% to 21,164 points.

On a positive note, the Straits Times Index rises by 0.43% to 3,588 points. The Taiwan Weighted Index climbs 0.4%, reaching 22,992 points. The Kospi Index increases by 0.9%, trading at 2,621 points. Additionally, the Jakarta Composite Index gains 0.5%, closing at 7,562 points, and the Shanghai Composite Index jumps 1.6%, reaching 3,271 points.

Overall, while some indices face challenges, the prevailing trend indicates optimism across global markets.
