Fifth Army International Scout Masters Competition to be held on 6 August in Jaisalmer
New Delhi, July 07 (HS): The fifth edition of International Army Scout Masters Competition will be held at Jaisalmer Military Station under the aegis of Southern Command of Indian Army from 6 August.
The competition is a part of International Army Games and consists of five stages of competitions which will be conducted over a period of nine days till 14 August at Jaisalmer, Rajasthan.
It is the first time that India has got an opportunity to host and participate in this prestigious event. Elite teams from eight participating countries including India will undergo a gruelling experience in the desert conditions which will test their endurance, professional acumen, grit and capability, to the hilt. The other seven countries are Armenia, Belarus, China, Kazakhstan, Russia, Uzbekistan and Zimbabwe.
The Rolling Trophy was unveiled and Army Scout Masters Magazine was also released during a function in Delhi recently.
