Father shot dead, daughter injured

Chapra/Gopalganj,10 April,2021 (HS) Motorcycle borne armed criminals today shot dead a retired government employee and the daughter who had come to shield father, sustained serious injuries . The incident occurred today morning at Rajapur Bazar under Gopalpur police station in Gopalganj. Deceased has been identified as Badri Thakur who had retired from education department. Neighbours told that Badri Thakur had some land related dispute and the other party had hired criminals to annihilate Badri Thakur. Police have sent the corpse for postmortem . Daughter after treatment is said to be out of danger. SP Anand Kumar has constituted a special investigatin team to nab the criminals. Conducts are being made and checking of vehicles is done to nab two motorcycle borne  professional criminals who had executed the crime, SP added.
