Fasting and prayers during Ramzan should result in harmony and happiness: CM KCR
Telangana: Hyderabad: April 14 ( HS) Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has conveyed his greetings to the Muslims on the occasion of beginning of Ramzan month. He desired that the fasting and prayers done during the Ramzan month should result in harmony and happiness.
CM urged that the Ganga Jamuna Tehzeeb should increase manifold and the spirit of brotherhood among people should be further strengthened. He reminded that the state government is officially celebrating the festival of Ramzan, respecting all religions and working tirelessly to maintain the communal harmony.
The CM also recalled on this auspicious occasion that several schemes, programmes are implemented by the state government for the welfare of economically backward among the Muslims. He said schemes like Shaadi Mubarak have brought in a qualitative change in the lives of young Muslim women. Several schemes implemented in the field of education for the Muslim students have been successful, CM said.
The CM also expressed happiness over the residential educational institutions for yielding good results. The CM has also expressed satisfaction over many schemes and programmes meant for the Muslims that are bearing fruits and bringing in qualitative change among the people. In the advent of a second wave of Corona spread, the CM urged the Muslim brethren to follow the guidelines and offer prayers, CM added.
