Fare fixed for heli services during Machail Mata Yatra*

Jammu, June 27: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kishtwar Angrez Singh Rana informed that the upcoming Mr. Machail Mata and Hud Mata Yatras where the M / S Arian Aviation Pvt. Ltd and Heritage Aviation Pvt. Ltd are the two companies which managed to fly He said that the Allotment of contract for providing helicopter services to Mr. Machail Mata Yatra will be from July 25 to 5 Sept. and Hudh Mata in Dacchan from 03 July to 10th July. He further informed that this year airfare for Machail Yatra 2019 has been fixed at Rs. 2,270 to Gulabgarh to Machail, Rs. 4,000 to Kishtwar to Gulabgarh besides the airfare for Shri Hudh Mata Yatra has fixed at Rs. 2, 200 from Kishtwar to Sounder and Rs. 2, 200 from Sounder to Kaikoot and the said rate is for a one way journey per passenger (inclusive of taxes) also included for children above 2 years to 12 years of age and under 2 years of age charged. DC Kishtwar further revealed that 60% tickets are earmarked through online booking and rest 40% will be booked on spot at Kishtwar, Gulabgarh and Sounder. “The heli services will facilitate the pilgrims including elderly, children and even sick people to pay tributes and it will also help in relief and rescue operations in case of any emergency” he added.
