Family Tragedy: Two men behind Kolkata triple murder, no outsiders Involved
Kolkata Police confirmed two brothers killed their family members, ruling out outsider involvement. Commissioner Manoj Verma stated the murders stemmed from business-related issues. The accused, Pranay and Prasun, initially claimed a suicide pact, saying everyone consumed porridge with sleeping pills.
On February 19, police found three family members dead at their Tangra home. The same day, Pranay, Prasun, and Pranay’s son crashed their car into a Metro Rail pillar, suffering injuries. Investigators linked financial troubles to the crime.
Authorities will seek legal counsel regarding Pranay’s son, who remains hospitalized. Police plan to arrange custody for the child through relatives.
