Ex Pak captain Shahid Afridi infected with Corona virus

New Delhi, June 13 (HS): Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi has been found positive in the coronavirus test, As revealed by the cricketer on his Twitter handle.

Afridi was helping people with his foundation in the midst of lockdown due to coronavirus and now he has found himself infected with this virus.

Afridi said, “I’ve been feeling unwell since Thursday; my body had been aching badly. I’ve been tested and unfortunately I’m covid positive. Need prayers for a speedy recovery, InshaAllah.”

Some first-class cricketers have been infected even before but Afridi is  the biggest name among those infected in cricket due to Corona.

Afridi has been in the discussions for some time, as he made controversial remarks about India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Kashmir.

He was heavily criticized in India after his statements. Yuvraj Singh, Harbhajan Singh, Suresh Raina and Virender Sehwag also strongly condemned Afridi’s statements.

After Afridi found infected, his fans are seen on social media praying for his safety.
