Ethylene plant in Gopalganj at the cost of 152.30 crore
Chapra/ Gopalganj,24 June (HS) Ethylene plant at the cost of 152.30 crores will come up at Bucheya under Sidhwalya police station in Gopalganj. Bharat Sugar Mills Sidhwaliya has sent a proposal to establish Distillery Divison (Ethylene plant) on 8.33 acres of land and extra 30 crores would be spent for preservation of envirornment.
This plant will produce four mega watt electricity. Works like water preservation, electrification of rural areas, health care, promotion of skill development and education and construction of lavotaries under clean India programme will also be taken by this plant.
For this another 2.87 crores would be spent. A meeting regarding this was today organised by Bharat Sugar Mills in which regional officer of Bihar state pollution control board and Anil Kumar and additional collector Anil Kumar Sinha participated.
Dinesh Singh Yadav from Gurgram told on this occasion that a proposal to this effect has been sent to the government Assembled people hailed the decision. Senior vice president of the Mill Shashi Kediya, senior cane manager RK Singh, Gajendra Singh, Vyas Singh, Triloki Prasad, and hundreds of villagers were present on this occasion.
Shashi Kediya said that this project would provide job opportunities to hundreds of people. This unit will produce Ethylene and four mega watt electricity. Rest electricity will be given to state government. This unit will be made completely free of pollution.
