Engineer cought red handed taking bribe

Chapra,13 March,2021 (HS) A team of Vigilance department today caught the superintending engineer of Building construction department while he was accepting the bribe of 1.30 lakhs. Vigilance DSP Surendra Kumar Maujar told that superintending engineer had demanded the bribe of this amount from contractor Indrajeet Kumar in the name of enhancing the estimate of reparing of Sales Tax department building. The contractor had informed the vigilance bureau of the same and acting on this  information, the superintending engineer  Ranjan Prasad Kumar was today caught red handed.
