Election Commission announces by-elections for three LS seats and 30 Assembly seats to be held on October 30
New Delhi, 28 September (H.S): The Election Commission on Tuesday announced the by-election schedule for three Lok Sabha seats and 30 assembly seats in 14 states. All the seats will go to polls on October 30. However, in Assam, Bihar and West Bengal, there will be a slight change in the election schedule from the rest of the states. The results for all the seats will be out on November 2.
According to the Election Commission, keeping in mind the epidemic, flood, cold wave and information received from the states, by-elections have been announced for three Lok Sabha and 30 assembly seats.
The Commission said, Lok Sabha by-elections will be held in the union Territories of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman Diu’s Dadra and Nagar Haveli seat, Madhya Pradesh’s Khandwa and Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi seat.
