Ekta Kapoor launches Pavitra Rishta Fund in memory of Sushant Singh Rajput
New Delhi, July 17 (HS) A month after the demise of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, producer Ekta Kapoor has joined hands with Tarun Katial to launch the Pavitra Rishta Fund to spread mental health awareness among people. The aim of this fund is to spread awareness among people about mental health.
Ekta said, “Times have changed a lot in the last 10 years, today there is a lot of pressure on everything. In the midst of this pandemic where we have been confined indoors, we are facing a lot of stress and anxiety. Our stress level is also increasing due to loss of work, home, jobs etc., due to which mental health is also deteriorating in many people. I am happy to be a part of the sacred relationship fund and I will be happy to be associated with such initiatives even further.”
Pavitra Rishta was the Ekta Kapoor show that made Sushant Singh Rajput a household name, in his role of Manav Deshmukh. “Our endeavour is to create awareness and be able to help as many individuals as we can, who are suffering from this issue,” said Tarun Katial, CEO, Zee5 India.
On Sushant’s demise Ekta paid him tribute on Twitter saying, “Rest In Peace sushi!!!! We will smile and make a wish when we see a shooting star and know it’s u!!!! Love u forever!!
