ECI gives recognisation to JJP as State party
Chandigarh, November 30 (H.S.)- The Election Commission has issued a certificate of recognition to the Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) formed by Dushyant Chautala. The JJP has been recognized as a state party. With this, the election symbol of the party has also been approved. The election symbol of the party will remain ‘ key’ . The party has gained this recognition due to good votes received in the assembly elections.
In the Haryana Assembly elections, only 11 months old JJP had fulfilled the criteria set by the Election Commission for permanent recognition. In the assembly elections 2019, the JJP got around 15.37 percent votes and elected ten MLAs. Out of 90 assembly seats, JJP was the second-ranked party in ten other seats. The Election Commission has also sent information to this effect to the Haryana Election Commission office.
