Duranto to run with improved coaches

Kolkata, 13 March (HS): The South Eastern Railway will run from today all three rakes of (12245/12246) Howrah-Yesvantpur-Howrah Duronto Express with most sophisticated and modern ‘Linke Hofmann Busch’ coaches instead of existing conventional coaches for a secured and comfortable journey of passengers.
Informing this SER sources told Hindusthan Samachar here today that  under the revised arrangements  the train would have one First AC, one Second AC, five Third AC and eleven Sleeper Class coaches where the passengers would experience better comfort and far more security than conventional coaches during their overnight journey.
Among a number of new features which had been added in the new improved coaches were        Fire Extinguishers,  Fire detection and suppression system ,  Modular Wash Basin to save wastage of water, Air Suspension System for riding comfort and modern brake system, besides increased accommodation in every coach.
