Drug peddlers arrested with 4.5 Kg Poppy Straw in Jammu
Jammu, June 28 (HS)
Police team of police station Nagrota arrested two drug peddlers with contraband of poppy straw during naka checking in Nagrota area.
TCP Nagrota intercepted a truck bearing registration No. JK08C-5185, which was on way from Kashmir towards Jammu. On checking, 04 kg 500 gm of Poppy Straw were recovered from the vehicle, which was concealed below the Truck.
The driver identified as Baljeet Singh of Rajbagh Kathua and helper Khem Raj of Hatli, Kathua has been arrested and the vehicle has been seized. Case FIR nos. 256/2020 U/s 8/15/NDPS Act have been registered at police station Nagrota.
The police team was led by Mohd Shokat SHO Nagrota.
