Drug peddler held with 50 grams of Charas in Samba

Jammu, January 14 (HS): Acting sternly against the drug menace and its propagators, District Police Samba in the jurisdiction of Vijaypur has arrested a drug peddler and recovered 50 gram (approx) Charas from his possession. A Police Party of Police Station Vijaypur while performing patrolling duty in Bagoona area of ​​Vijaypur intercepted a person moving under suspicious circumstances. During frisking of the said person, 3 Challis containing 50 grams (approximately) charas was recovered from his possession. The accused person identified as Sanjeev Kumar S / o Puppy R / O Kothey, Vijaypur has been arrested on the spot and contraband item was also seized. In this regard a case FIR No. 07/2021 U / S 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at P / S Vijaypur and investigation is started.
