Do not use mobile phones , Facebook and Whatsapp in court: Karnataka High Court

Bangalore, Jun.17(HS): The Karnataka High Court has issued issued a circular barring judicial officers from using mobiles while sitting on the court room . The circular also restrains them from using social media during court hours, either for personal work or any official communication.

The court Statement said, “All the judicial officers in the State are hereby directed not to use Mobile phones in any manner while sitting on dais and not to use any social media such as WhatsApp, Skype, Facebook, etc., during the court hours for personal or any official communication. Any lapse will be viewed seriously.”
