Digvijay singh and other Congress leaders arrested
Bengaluru,18 March(HS): Digvijaysingh, General Secretary AICC, DK Shivakumar, President KPCC and many other local Congress leaders were arrested this morning here as they made attempts in vain to meet the Madhya Pradesh Congress MLAs’ holed up in the private Ramada luxury resort on the outskirts of the city.
As a result of the Congress leaders protest joined by a few bus loads of supporters of a few local Congress MLAs’, traffic on the busy Yelahanka-Doddaballapur road came to a standstill and thereby causing traffic jams to the extent of a few kilometers.
The situation came to normal once the Congress leaders and workers were arrested and taken to the Byatrayanpur police station.
