Devendra Fadnavis’s ‘Varsha’ bungalow declared a defaulter by BMC
Mumbai, June 24 (HS): Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis’s ‘Varsha’ bungalow has been declared a defaulter by Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), as Rs 7,44,981 water bill is pending. In addition to Fadnavis, a total of 18 ministers of his cabinet have also been declared defaulter.
This information has been received through reply to a petition filed under Right to Information, Act (RTI Act). It has been found that BMC has a claim around 8 crore rupees only on the houses of ministers. This list includes the names of the prominent leaders of the state like Pankaja Munde, Eknath Shinde, Sudhir Mungantiwar, Vinod Tawde, along with Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
