Delhi Violence: 5 stations closed in Delhi, violence marred by violence

New Delhi, Feb 25 (HS): Due to Delhi violence, the services of the metro have been affected. Delhi Metro has closed Jafrabad, Maujpur-Babarpur, Gokulpuri, Johari Enclave and Shiv Vihar Metro stations. Metro services on the Pink Line have been terminated at the Welcome metro station itself. The five stations of Delhi Metro were also closed on Monday due to security reasons.

IDespite claims byvthe police , there is no peace in the violence-affected areas. Five motorcycles were set ablaze by miscreants on Tuesday morning. A stone-pelting incident has also taken place in Maujpur and Brahmapuri areas on Tuesday morning.

According to the fire department, 45 arson calls were received in north-east Delhi. People threw stones at a fire department vehicle and set a fire engine ablaze . 3 firemen have been injured in this incident.

The violence has affected the schools. Keeping in mind the safety of children, the Delhi government has also demanded suspension of board examinations in schools in these areas. In addition to the 10th and 12th board examinations, school exams up to 11th have been postponed.

 After the violence on Monday, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said, there will be no examinations of schools in the violence-affected North-East district in Delhi tomorrow. All government and private schools will remain closed. “

After this order of Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister, all the schools in North-East district have been closed. The exams to be held on Tuesday and the first board examination of class Tenth on Wednesday. On Wednesday, students of class tenth have their first English test.
