New Delhi, Oct.22(HS): BJP has objected to the photo of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Pink tickets given to women for free travel in DTC buses. A delegation of BJP leaders has met Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal in this regard.

BJP has alleged that CM Arvind Kejriwal is going to get his photo printed on these tickets, which is unethical.

The leaders who met Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal included Vijendra Gupta, OP Sharma, Jagdish Pradhan, Anil Bajpai and Kapil Mishra. The leaders alleged that CM Arvind Kejriwal is going to get his photo printed on the Pink tickets being issued for DTC, which is unethical.

Under the Delhi government’s scheme to provide free travel facilities to women in DTC and cluster buses, pink tickets will be issued to women passengers. This service will start on Bhai Dooj on 29 October.

Leader of Opposition in Delhi Legislative Assembly Vijendra Gupta said that printing his photo on tickets is the misuse of government money. It is also illegal and immoral. He said that we have complained to the Lt. Governor about misuse of the post. Political propaganda is being done on DTC tickets for his personal benefit. In one such case, the decision of the Lokayukta has already come, in which Sheila Dixit had printed her photo on the loan form.

In this case, an advisory was issued by the Lokayukta, after which the photo was removed. BJP leaders said that there is a big scam in this. Apart from this, he also filed a complaint in Lokayukta court on Tuesday. Kejriwal government gave its approval to the free travel scheme last month.
